My Plumber Heating and Air Provides Food for Fairfax's Neediest

November 20, 2009 - Manassas, Va.  Manassas-based plumbing and HVAC firm My Plumber Heating and Air recently donated 457 pounds of food to Food For Others in Fairfax.  "We collect the donated food from our customers," said company founder R. Wendell Presgrave, "and in return we turn it over to organizations that feed those who are food insecure."  Although the company is based in Manassas, it provides service throughout Northern Virginia and Suburban Maryland, and distributes food to all communities where its technicians work.

My Plumber Heating and Air has collected more than 70,000 pounds of food since it began its collection and distribution program in 2004.  Currently they offer a $10 discount and a coupon for $25 off a future service in exchange for 5 cans of food.
